This pocket-sized gentleman's styled 22-meter yacht will transition from the design boards to reality when construction commences. The design is very interesting in that it borrows elements from gentleman's styling but also has its own classical yet modern touches.
The design and placement of the superstructure just slightly forward of the midships region allows the aft main deck to be relatively free. In the renderings you can see that this space is expected to be hosting the main tender of the Roma 22. With the tender being stored on the aft main deck, the lower aft deck can be free and transformed into a beach club as the renderings suggest a fold down transom door to the water's edge.
Three guest cabins will be provided with the owner having a full-beam suite that is large enough to make you believe you are on a craft larger than 22-meters. Two other cabins will be devoted to guest use to round out the guest total to eight. There is also room for two crew members in one cabin.
Propulsive power will come via Volvo D16 MH engines that will see the Roma 22 reach her 11-knot top speed on steel hull and 15 knots on aluminum hull. Although she is designed with classical touches in mind, the interior is very comfortable with all the luxury touches needed. Just look at the decor in the master suite in the below photo for reference.
