Being TEKNOMAR Company which specialize on aluminum construction, sometimes we involved in the other yachts materials. Today, we signed a contract with our repeat customer for technical supervision of new construction MY Menorquin 54.

Together with WOSA ltd. from Viareggio, Italy, we will provide 10 visits to Menorca at Spanish shipyard Sasga Yachts, where will build this beautiful and unique 54 feet's yacht.

The key features of this semi displacement yacht are following: its 24 tones light weight, max. speed 23 knots, hull beam is 5.0 meters, 3 cabins with berth places for 6 persons, Master cabin in full beam at the middle of the ship, flybridge, fuel capacity 2.800 L., CE Certification "A".

The main challenge for our surveyors will be electrical plan and wiring diagram of the boat. Our customer had several serious issues with electrical devices on his present yacht Menorquin 42. To avoid this problems on new built Menorquin 54, our marine electrical engineers will double check specification and will control all wiring installation on board. The final stage of our work will be delivery and acceptance sea trials in July 2020.

Last year I was visit a Sasga Yachts shipyard and I had chance to test Menorquin 54. I was really impressed by performance and seaworthy characteristics of this yacht and really admire by very clean and nice interior finishing. On Menorquin yacht you can really go anywhere in the Med sea and go in the ocean islands like Madeira or Canaries islands.

The hull is ready and this week, we will planning a first visit.
